Studio 1 Music
Studio 1 Music, home to 50+ active students, is a successful music studio under the direction of Elizabeth Aceto, a seasoned musician and licensed educator with 17+ years of teaching experience. Studio 1 offers lessons in flute, violin, piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, and more! Also available are a variety of music classes such as Music Theory tutoring, Side by Side or Group Lessons, Noteable Beginnings for Early Childhood, General Music, Adaptive Music, and more. Music lessons are offered in various styles such as classical, jazz, theatre, etc. The goal of Studio 1 is to provide accessible music instruction to all types of learners no matter the age or level. Studio 1 Music offers in-home, in-person, and virtual lessons in order to best accommodate all preferences and needs of our music families.

Music Teachers
Liz Aceto
Elizabeth Aceto is the owner of Studio 1 Music, a licensed teacher, and has 17+ years of teaching experience. Ms. Aceto holds a Master of Education degree in Special Education from Penn State University, a Bachelor's degree in Education, Music Performance, and Social Sciences from the North Park University of Chicago, and is a K-9th grade licensed educator. She has taught in Chicago Public and Private schools, the SCASD school district and has partnered with local homeschool groups to provide music education. She has been teaching studio lessons on a broad range of instruments since 2006. Liz specializes in flute (2005), has an extensive background in the violin (1995), and offers lessons for other instruments such as viola, piano, voice, and more. She has classically performed throughout Europe (flute) and has been awarded national honors in jazz music (upright bass) and classical voice.
Ms. Aceto was classically trained in Wisconsin and Chicago, IL where she has worked with many programs (e.g. El Stistema/People Music School/Music for Social Change) that have contributed to her bringing various techniques, culture, and unique perspectives into the music world. She believes in the power of music and how it can heal an individual as well as a community. She is a firm believer that no one should be denied the experience of being a musician and should experience music for the lifelong benefit of the art.

Tanner Deyo
Tanner Deyo is a Penn State University Music Education major, as well as a musician in the Penn State Blue Band. He specializes in Trumpet (2013), tuba (2016), trombone (2017), baritone (2017), and advanced Music Theory. Throughout his high school career, he chaired lead trumpet in the State High Jazz Band and the State High Symphonic band. Further accomplishments include advancing to All-State music competitions and performing at Rockefeller Center! Tanner was rank leader of the trumpet section in the State High Marching Band (2022) and qualified for the NAfME All-National Honors Ensemble on trumpet. Tanner's experience working with kids includes being a TA for State High's Advanced Music Theory course, mentoring young trumpet players, and teaching recreational gymnastics (2016-Present).
